Come and Sail the Seven Seas with us as we paint up a storm with the City of Melville! This is a great opportunity for parents and kids to come along and get creative together - and leave with two awesome canvases that can be hung side by side in this impressive diptych.

Cabernet & Canvas is pleased to bring you this special event in conjunction with the City of Melville alongside their Annual Art Award. The City of Melville will very generously be subsidising the event as well as providing afternoon tea for participants. Use the code MelvilleArt at checkout to receive $15 off your ticket price!

This is a bit of a shake up to our regular classes as we will be offering pairs of kids and adults the opportunity to create a joint artwork across two canvases that can be hung together. The simple design allows for creative freedom, while still benefiting from the guidance of our skilled artist-instructors during class.

Our artist today: Jaccie Gillett

When to come? – Arrive from 1:15pm to get settled in and get ready to have fun! Class starts at 1:30pm sharp!

What to bring? - Yourself! All painting materials are provided.

Included in your ticket price is:

  • A double ticket for one adult and one child*
  • 1-2 hours of painting instruction
  • Take your finished paintings home at the end of class
  • Complimentary afternoon tea provided by the City of Melville **

What to wear? – We provide you with an apron but recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on...just in case! Although acrylic paint is water-soluble, it near impossible to remove once it dries completely.

Please Note: This class is designed to be undertaken by an adult and a child. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Ticket price includes a double pass for both adult and child. Recommended child age is 8 to 12 years.

**  Cabernet and Canvas provides art class instruction services only. Any food and drinks included in the ticket price will be provided by the City of Melville.
