Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah . . . it's The Scream!
Don't be put off by edgy look of this painting, the intense colour and loose lines make it an absolute hoot to paint!
Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter and printmaker and is regarded as a pioneer of the Expressionist movement. He created work in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and much of his work explores complex issues. The Scream is one of Munch's most well known works and he created multiple copies of the same scene using different techniques. It is bold and emotional, and so much fun to paint!
